For archeologic and historical buffs, this place is a must to see where the the first proven human occupation of the Philippines was found. A 3 hour van ride and 45 minute banca ride one way from Puerto Princesa to Quezon is needed to visit the Tabon site. It is maintained by the governernment, and the entrance fee is a low 20 pesos per visitor payable at the small exhibit of the cave site in Quezon town run by the National Museum.
